Travel Nurse Housing: Enjoy the treats of the season while staying with us

Trick or treat! Here at Shreveport Bossier Corporate Housing, we hope that your Halloween and holiday season is a treat. Yes, 2020 has been a difficult year for many and can feel more like a “trick” than anything else. Despite this, there still are a number of ways you can celebrate Fall and / or Halloween this coming week in Bossier City LA and the surrounding area. Our travel nurse housing experts discuss in this post.

What should I do on Halloween in Shreveport?

One easy way to celebrate the season is to decorate the front door of your rental! This is a good way to show your self-expression and brighten someone else’s day. Check out the fun ideas in this article.

Looking for more involved activities in the area? There are lots of options, including everything from a haunted corn maze to cemetery tours at Oakland Cemetery in Shreveport and more. Want to check out the Sci-Port Discovery Center downtown? On Halloween, you can get in free and enjoy a themed costume event. There’s even a drive-in movie night on Halloween with several films to choose from. Check out local events here and here for more info.

Please note that Shreveport Bossier Corporate Housing does not personally endorse any of the activities as found in the links…information is offered only as a convenience to you. Your personal health and safety is important to us. Remember that you’re ultimately responsible for making decisions about what to go to and where.

If you feel the most comfortable staying indoors at home, there’s still lots to do. Pumpkin decorating or carving is a fun hands-on activity. And, of course, baking traditional Fall favorites like pumpkin bread or these fun spooky cookies are great ideas. The kitchen area in each of our travel nurse housing units comes equipped with all the baking utensils you’ll need to get started. Simply buy your food items and head to the kitchen! Afterwards, relax in the living area on our leather recliners. You may want to watch a horror movie or, for more family-friendly viewing, choose the animated classic, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Whatever you decide to do, we hope your time staying with us is sweet!
