What’s more Southern than sweet tea?! If you’re coming to work on assignment in the Bossier City area, you’ll definitely want to enjoy the hospitality of our beautiful town as much as possible. There’s lots to see and do on your days off from the hospital. Afterwards, relax in our fully furnished travel nurse housing. In this post, we’ll discuss some ways you can enjoy sweet tea or other forms of tea around Shreveport LA.
How do you take your tea?
Summertime is just around the corner, which means that it’s time to get out the glass jars and make some sun tea. If you haven’t made tea this way, it’s a fun afternoon project! Simply buy some large tea bags and fill a glass container with the bags and tap or filtered water. Then, put a lid on the container and put it in the direct sunlight outside or in a window. Wait a few hours and enjoy! Our traveling nurse rentals have a fully equipped kitchen area that even has a gallon tea pitcher in it for your convenience.Of course, brewed tea made with boiling water is a great option as well. There are so many kinds of tea to choose from…black, green, white, rooibos, herbal etc. Whole Foods and even Walmart have tea bags for sale. Or, if you’re looking for a local source, the Louisiana Roasting Company has some varieties available.
Looking for tea while on the go? Check out Coffee on the Red (they also have tea!), Moor Coffee Co or CC’s Coffee House, to name a few. For Boba tea (aka bubble tea), you’ve got to visit Boba Xpress for their delicious options!
