- Willis-Knighton Health System has grown since its inception in 1924 and now boasts four hospitals in the Bossier City and Shreveport metro as well as a physical and behavioral rehabilitation center. The hospital locations offer the community a wide variety of services including emergency care, pediatric and neonatal ICU needs, cancer center, heart and vascular institute, eye surgery and more.
- Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport is “newer” to the Shreveport scene and has four hospital locations as well as six primary care centers and twenty specialty centers. The Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medial Center can be found at 1541 Kings Highway
Shreveport, LA, 71103‐4228 and is the only Level One trauma center in north Louisiana. The hospital also works with the LSU School of Medicine to train medical students and serve patients in need. - CHRISTUS Shreveport-Bossier Health System is the region’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital. They offer emergency care to children and adults in two facilities…one in southeast Shreveport and one in Bossier City. In addition, those needing assistance with diabetes, breast care, imaging and radiology, telehealth, wound care etc can get in touch with CHRISTUS for help.
