In this post, we’ll explore the city of Shreveport’s ice cream shops and talk about where you should go if you want to take a dip in a pool.   • Other options in town include Baskin-Robbins, Marble Slab Creamery, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Dairy Queen etc.

  • If you’re looking for another way to cool down, check out Splash Kingdom. This is a family-friendly waterpark that’s good, wet fun for all ages!
  • The YMCA of Northwest Louisiana is a great solution for all things swim-related. You can take swimming lessons, enjoy Aquatics classes with other members or even join a swim team where a coach can help you improve your skills.
  • Bossier City has several public swimming pools where you can enjoy the water.
